Access, Borrowing & Services

Access
            
The library is available for student use during recess and lunches, except Thursday lunch (due to sport) and every second Friday recess. Senior students may use the facilities for private study and research during their study periods. Students are permitted to play chess, card and board games during recess and lunch times. They also have access to 19 computers for school related activities such as assignments and Mathletics. The library is also available very early each morning for assignment, study and research purposes only. Senior students especially are encouraged to use this time as needed. Students wishing to use the library before 7.45 am should bring a note from a parent/guardian.


 

Borrowing

Junior students are able to borrow up to three Fiction and three Non-Fiction books at any one time. Seniors may borrow five of each. Borrowing is available throughout the year with minor disruptions during stocktake. Students do not require a library card, however barcoded photo ID’s may be purchased from our School Photo company and these will be used as borrowing cards.

 

Services 
         
We offer laminating for keycard, A4 and A3 sizes. Small fees apply. Many students have taken advantage of our laminating for their timetables and bus passes. This helps prevent damage and future replacement costs. We are also happy to laminate certificates and important documents. We also offer printing and photocopying. Colour printing is also available from our office and is completed when the office computer is available.
